Sarah Carter

Sarah is an intellectually curious ethicist with diverse training in chemistry, biomedical science, and applied ethics. The underlying thread throughout everything she undertakes is a driving passion for bridging science and society. Her current research interests include data science, computer/information ethics, and designing value-sensitive technologies. She is currently a PhD candidate investigating the ethics of smartphone-based data collection under the supervision of Mathieu D'Aquin (NUIG), Heike Felzmann (NUIG), Kathryn Cormican (NUIG), and Dave Lewis (TCD).
